“I checked out every book the library had on astronomy with pictures of galaxies, nebulae and star formation and became enamored with the quantitative and aesthetic qualities of Space. As a sculptor I attempted to capture Space concepts in a three dimensional tactile format, thus the Prototype Galaxies and Comet of 2001. This is just the beginning of an artistic and intellectual pursuit that I find very exciting, possibly the main emphasis of my future work.”
